A
friendly community pub that's narrow enough to ensure you
meet people - even if you're only just squeezing past them.
It's decorated in the avant-garde way of an eccentric rural
farmhouse: extravagant brass chandeliers drop from a deep
ceiling, with a wall of painted '60s celebrities (James Mason,
Elizabeth Taylor) opposite a row of mirrors.
It's too thin for traditional tables and
chairs, so once you squeeze past the geezers at the bar,
you find rows of raised bench-like tables with tall stools.
It's a mildly bohemian little oasis that serves good beer
(Harveys Sussex, and a guest or
two) and great lunchtime sausages in wonderfully crusty
bread.
Located a stones throw from Leicester Square,
Covent Garden, Charing Cross and Trafalgar Square, the Harp
is close to all the main transport links and West End Theatres.
Whether you're a real ale enthusiast or just
enjoy good quality beer, our selection of fine cask ales
are sure to meet with your approval. We also serve traditional
west country cider from the tap.
